I bought a Kingston 1TB NVMe to replace the 128GB Apple M.2 in my Macbook Air (2013).

I'd like to reuse Apple memory in an external enclosure, but I can't find any converter from Apple's proprietary connector to the M key standard connector.

There is something? Thanks in advance.

Thanks @jdb8167 for your contribution but I did not explain myself well.
I already found a box, it will be this Orico enclosure. I'm looking for is a connector like the popular Sintech to connect MNVe standard of the market in the proprietary connector of Apple of the Macbook Pro / Air but I want it the opposite. I want to connect the original Apple 128GB M.2 in the Orico enclosure and for this I need a converter between connectors (Apple to Standard) .

I've never seen such an adapter (aside from the expensive OWC enclosures). Also, the Apple drive is longer than a typical NVMe drive, so even with an adapter, it wouldn't fit most enclosures anyway.

Remember, typical NVMe drive + adapter is the same length as the Apple SSD drive alone. An Apple SSD + adapter would be way, way too long.

BTW, what Kingston did you buy, and how is the battery life?

Hahahaha Believe me @EugW I hadn't thought about it. Thank you so much for everything!

My idea was to buy the enclosure to install Windows 10 externally on the Kingston A2000 1TB where I can not install it internally in my Macbook Air (2013). I've been trying a thousand ways for 4 days and I never get it to end. I also don't know if that will work. Once achieved it was to use the enclosure with the Apple's 128GB M.2 externally.

Regarding the battery consumption you ask lasts around 4-5 hours. Although you must think that it is a very old laptop and has had many hours of use so in other computers it could be superior.

I add that I have been able to install OCLP 0.5.1 + macOS Ventura without problems.

Very grateful for your comment. Greetings.

I had never controlled it with the watch but I wasn't so wrong. Here is my data from today's test.

Hardware:
- Macbook Air (2013) 8GB
- Internal: macOS Ventura in a Kingston A2000 1TB MNVe
- External: Windows 10 in a Sandisk Extreme Portable SSD 500GB USB-C / USB 3.1 (connected to Mac with USB adapter included. This Mac has USB 3.0 ports)

Features:
- Windows 10 (external Sandisk)
- Starting with 100% battery
- Only wi-fi
- Working in Microsoft Excel
- Playing a youtube's live video (music)
- Fitefox with 8 tabs

Total time: 4h25min
(Windows has shut down the computer at 5%)

Today I have been working with Windows, another day I will do the test in Ventura. Hope this can help you.
