Is there a demand for 14" Retina MacBook?

I was wondering whether I am the only person eagerly waiting for 14" Retina MacBook. I also wouldn't mind 16" either!

But 14"+ Retina MacBooks will cost a lot... 12" is already quite expensive. I guess 14" model would start at $1799 in US? In Canada, it is guaranteed to start at $2000!

Also, does Retina MacBooks have issues with running apps like Ampkit and Amplitube? That's probably the only intensive task I'll do on Retina MacBook since I have an iMac. My iMac handles guitar recording just fine without fans having to spin above idle, but my MBP overheats a lot during recording.

I'm waiting for the 13" Air successor, which I expect to be a 14" MB but I suppose could be a cross between the current 13" Air and 13" Pro. I would be surprised if it cost $1800. If anything, I expect the current 12" MB to come down in price at some point, at least $100, and a 14" MB to start at $1400 or $1500. At any rate, that's what will replace the 2010 iMac I'm typing on.
