A few months ago, I got a MacBook. Transitioning from the Windows world to a MacBook has been very easy, and I'm quite satisfied with the performance and capabilities of the hardware and of OS X. But I have been racking my brain trying to determine if I am missing something, or if it is my MacBook that is missing something....

Does OS X provide for printing in a "draft" mode to save ink? Whenever I print, I always get this amazingly crisp, clean, high-quality, ink-sucking printout that look very high-end and worthy of an international publication, but it's such a waste for dumping a couple forum pages or emails off the 'net. The pages print slow, and they waste ink.

My 2 printers are an HP PSC-2175 All-In-One printer, and an HP DeskJet 960c. I downloaded and installed any Mac-specific drivers that I could find at the HP site corresponding to the models, however I can't find anywhere in any settings or preferences as to where to set a "draft" mode--if one is even available.

Any suggestions?
