Is there a good 18" lightning cable that will work with CarPlay?

For where I want to mount my iPhone in my car, the stock 3 foot lightning cable has way too much slack in it. Is there a good 18" (or 24" worst case) lightning cable that is compatible with CarPlay? I see some on Amazon, but then reviews say bad ratings when used with CarPlay.

I use the black cable that comes with the belkin car charger with the Brodit ClicOn car holder, i have wrapped the excess around the back of the holder and left enough to plug in, don't even see it.
I should buy the holder that has lightening connected so i don't have to plug it it.
