Just wondering if there is anything which can check temperature and humidity of a wine cellar and report it to an app through wifi.

Thanks

Off the top of my head, a used iHome ISS50 (eBay) would do the job. Or a HomePod mini. Both are always-on, WiFi-enabled, HomeKit-compatible temperature and humidity sensors.

As far as checking and reporting to an app, though... That I'm not sure about. You can set up automations/alerts in HomeKit, or do temp checks at times of day and do something with the result (like make a light glow red or something)

SensorPush

Get a sensor(s) and the wifi gateway and you're set. You can pull set alerts/notifications per sensor and you can look at logged data to see how readings fluctuate based on time/location. One other perk is that sensors can be used anywhere since based on BT, i.e. you can take one out on a vacay in a cooler.

I've been using these (sensors and gateway) for years, great sensors with great support.
