Is there a kill all or task manager for the Iphone?

My phone feels sluggish from a week or so. What can I do about it? Have about 12 apps, 550 contacts, 4 email accounts, about 500 sms messages and no music video.

If you jailbreak, there is an app called RemoveBG. It will kill everything running in the background.

To see what apps you have running just double click the home button and they will appear in your dock. To close them out just press the app until they start to jiggle and hit the "-".
