Is there a market for 2x256MB ram pulled from a stock macbook?

I'm thinking about getting a Macbook 1.83Ghz stock config. I'll get 2x1GB sticks of ram and replace the default 512.

However I was wondering if anyone would buy the 2x256 sticks? Since there are only 2 slots in MB/MBP's, I can't see any likelihood of anyone wanting to but these sticks?

What do you guys reckon?

Not really

They aren't worth much. I've been trying to sell my sticks locally on craig's list for $20 for both of them and have yet to get a taker.

I think I remember seeing OWC selling 256 MB pulls for about $6 each a while back...but not right now.

Keep them around, you'll want to put them back in if you have to send you machine in for repair
