Is there a microphone jack on the Mac Mini?

I'm going to buy a Mac Mini as my first Mac. I looked at the pictures and there is no microphone jack! Do microphones work different on Macs?

no microphone jack on or in the mini, shame indeed. I use a iMic to speak to my mini, it takes up an usb port, but it adds an audio in and out. It is not cool to spend money on something you expect to be there, but the iMic works very good and it's fun to have two outputs (which can be used independent by programs that support it, like skype). The iMic out sounds (subjectively-?) a little bit better than the mini's sound connector.
