Here's the use-case... I'm going to buy a Mac Mini and a new USB-C monitor. I'll hook it up via USB-C, and I'll plug the keyboard / mouse into the monitor's USB ports. Simple.
My wife and I both use Chromebooks for work, and I'd like to be able to have a USB-C cable hanging free that I can stick into the chromebook, have my monitor switch to that as the input device, and have the keyboard / mouse work with the chromebook. Then when I remove the Chromebook, it's back to being a Mac Mini machine.
Does this sort of thing exist?
