Are there any pdf annotaters that will allow you to add a sticky note with handwriting? I often need to add a lot of math derivations in the margins and there often isn't enough space.

I use iAnnotate from Branchfire. It is a real Swiss Army knife of an app.

Well, you can add typed sticky notes and freehand margin (or anywhere) notes. I don't, however, see a way to handwrite sticky notes. You could probably request that feature. I think i remember hearing that they're pretty responsive.
