Resizing of pictures? I'm not looking for apps to apply effect, and when I say resize, I'm not talking about cropping. I'm needing an app that allows me to scale down the picture size.

Anything out there that works well?

I have checked a few iPad apps but never found one that would scale down a photo. I hope someone out there has found one. If I do, I will post to your thread.

Photogene for iPad has an Export option where you can change the resolution and resize to presets from 200 to 2592 or edit your own size. Then you can save back to your photo library or export to Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, FTP, copy to Clipboard, e-mail, print, Dropbox or Picasa.

Thanks for the suggestion--i'll look into it.

Filterstorm or Iris will resize an image down to whatever pixel width or height that you want. Both apps I use a ton. Filterstorm is very much like Photoshop. Iris isn't as elegant (photoshop-wise) as Filterstorm, but it has preset filters to mimic blueprints and holgas, etc. Iris has fantastic options to layer images one on top of the other and blend the two together.
