Is there a plugin for Chrome to kill the tabs after awhile?

Hi I just started using Chrome as a browser again and the only problem I have with it is that each tab can take up around 30-50mb of memory, which is a problem for me cause I usually open a lot of tabs then don't close them for a while. So I was wondering if there is a plug in to kill the tabs to free up my memory usage, kind of like what opera for iOS does.
