Is there a "portrait" form of Ken Burns effect?

In iMovie, I had a vertical/portrait shot of a map, and what to use a Ken Burns effect to center on one part, but the effect is in landscape mode. I want the effect to be in portrait mode to fit the map. Can you change the effect so that it works in portrait?
