Looking for rubber plugs or similar to protect the usb,thunderbolt port power act...my MBP13 from dust and the elements. Any suggestions?

Unless you're in an unusually dusty environment, they don't need protecting.

A silicone plug will have a little nub that sticks out that you can hold to pull it out. This plug can get caught onto things, and cause tug-and-pull damage to the ports as well as easily losing the plug themselves.

Like GGJStudios said, unless you work in a place that's ridiculously dusty, you don't need one of those.
