an iPhone 3G phone book.....when the contacts were transferred, the phone numbers where not transferred. I have to enter them one at a time and by hand.
Thanks
JB

If your Contacts List is stored on your SIM card, You can go to Settings>Mail, Contacts,Calendars>*Scroll down all the way* and then click on "Import SIM contacts".

I honestly believe they did do that at the Apple Store when they converted from my sim ship from the Motorola to the iPhone. But I will look and try it.
They were swapping out sim chips to move the names and info (phone #'s)

Apple should have a way to do this in iTunes. Verizon has it so you can upload you info to their site and then download it back in to your new phone

OK...I am bumping this thread. Again I need to find a program that is friendly to merging phone numbers from my iPhone from another phone. Any ideas?

Again, did you try the Import from SIM route. and also, if your other phone is a smart phone, connect to computer, backup your contacts, and sync with iPhone.

(I worded like that because well you didn't say to iphone or from iPhone)
