Is there a program that offers text completion with tokens or adjustable date format?

I've been going crazy looking for this.

Basically, I put a custom date into tons of file names, all day long, and I'd like to have a text completion system installed where if I type, say "dd" it replaces it with the date, written out the way I want it written. That format is yy-mmdd if anyone cares :p

So I'm either looking for a text completion system that offers tokens in the completion string (like, yy or mm tokens) or one that can enter dates and allows the format to be customized.
