Like making a big file being compressed into like a bunch of seperate files that someone can download online and use a program to expand it as a big file.

there is a program I found called split and concat but the problem is you need the program to download it. Is there something for mac similar to that but you don't need to get that exact program?

What's the point? We don't use floppy disks anymore :p.
 
You mean similar to those torrent files you get every now and again that have been done like that?

Yeuch. Why would you want to do that? Surely there has to be neater way of achieving what you're trying to do. :)
 
You can .RAR the file. Use Stuffit or MacRar, or Unrar to create a file that is compressed and broken into as many pieces as you want (each piece the same size).
