Is There a Screen Edge Dock?

Is there an application for the Mac which will allow me to dock any given window to the side of my screen so its out of sight until I take my cursor to the edge of the screen?

That's great, but is there something which doesn't require clicking on the tab to make it open?

I would simply like to move my mouse to the edge of the screen and have the window appear or pop out.

Any such application?

wow, that looks almost exactly like what you described. Otherwise, you could try spaces. Having windows in the other space, hold your mouse at the edge and it'll go to the other space and show the window. But that linked program looks like your best bet.

Yeah, it doesn't pop up when I move my cursor to the edge. I have to click on a tab to make it open. I could simply do that from the dock anyway.

I use spaces for other things.

personally i use expose for most things like this, have you tried something like WindowShade X, os9 like window 'scrolling'

Windowshade X doesn' t work with OSX 10.5.x
