Is there a setting to adjust delay when using TouchBar on 15"

Howdy....

I recently purchased a 15" TB MBP...

I quite like the touch bar, but I notice that when I touch something like the brightness control, there's a brief pause or lag before I can drag left or right to adjust the brightness...

Is there a setting for this? Or some way to remove the delay or lag before the touch control becomes responsive?
