I bought the philip hues but when I opened the box, I noticed the bulb has a label that says it is dangerous to put this bulb in a enclosed fixture.

I have a standing floor lamp that has a completely enclosed casing. Which bulb should I get?

How enclosed?

I have Hues inside outdoor light fixtures and they've been running fine for over 18 months. Programmed to come on every night and turn off every morning.

Might be Philips covering their arses. The bulbs always seem relatively cool to the touch.

I've been using paper versions of these with hugh bulbs (9 of them) in my driveway for two years without a single issue.

But I assume the paper version must have some opening right? My lamp literally is sealed tight, the case is basically a screw on design to a standing rod.
