I am tired of getting messages like this while on the web:
Thanks for trying to access Flash Player. Unfortunately it is not available for your device because of restrictions that Apple has put in place. Click here to see a wide array of the latest smartphones and tablets that do support Adobe's Flash Player.

Isn't there some kind of workaround for this?

If you're jailbroken and have a 3rd or 4th gen iPod touch, 1st or 2nd iPad, or an iPhone 3GS or 4, you can get "Frash" from Cydia. Give you full flash suppport, I believe.

Otherwise, iOS devices do not support flash in the unjailbroken state and it's not possible to bypass that without being jailbroken. Maybe in the future we'll get flash, but not now.
