Is there a terminal command to make menu highlight flash last longer like in old os's?

Hello,

I would like when I select an item from the menu bar to flash a bit more or longer like in the old macOS. Right now when I click lets say system preferences it flashes only once and if you look at old os's you see it flashes more times. Is there a terminal command to make it flash more?
