Apparently I didn't follow the correct uninstall procedure, I just dragged the application to the trash along with the download file and deleted it.

However, it's still there with the annoying red text telling me to purchase the full version scrolling across my screen every 10 minutes. I know it had to modify some internals under the hood of osx.

What can I do?

Thanks

Best way to FULLY DELETE a program full credit to GGJstudios.

I tried DockMod for a few minutes, and once I saw that streaming red banner, decided it was something I definitely DID NOT WANT on my Mac.

But how to get rid of it?

Ultimately, what worked for me was to run the latest combo updater on it. I was using a copy of 10.9.2 on an external drive.

So, I just ran the 10.9.2 combo updater again.
Afterwards, DockMod was gone.

Yes! It's really simple!

At first I want to say, I'm a boy that is 13 years old and I'm from Holland, so I don't speak very good English.

The Answer:

You have to open DockMod.

You go to settings, and there you switch off. Than will your dock restart and you only have to delete DockMod! :D
