Hi,

I recently downloaded amphatamine, and one of the options in prefeences is too [manually manage padding for menu bar image]

this got me wondering is there a way i can do this for any of my icons in the menu bar?

i know you can do this for the dock using terminal, just wondering if you can do the same with menu bar ?

thanks for your help in advance.

OnyX can also perform the task.

Edit Thu. 5/21 : And it retains the positioning after a restart.

Onyx should retain the position of the spacers... provided new menubar items aren't added/removed across restart without moving the spacers as well.

For full control, you would need an app like Bartender, but that seems like overkill for your needs.
