I was wondering if there's a way to boot up only using either Windows or OS X using VMware Fusion. I want to be able to utilize my hardware at its full potential while playing Steam games. Is this possible?

I did try Bootcamp earlier and ran into the problem I'm running into now. After I select my Windows 7 ISO it gets stuck right here.. any ideas?

You need to create a bootable medium, DVD or USB flash memory thumb drive, as an .iso file is not bootable.

Maybe have a look at Advanced Search or MRoogle to find similar threads while you wait for more answers:

Then the question is: how did you create that install medium? Did you use a guide? Has search brought up nothing useful?

Well it looks like other people have had similar problems with a search, "stuck at about 40%" but nobody has had an answer to the problem.

Then maybe explain your situation in more detail, for example what steps you have taken to get the .iso file onto the USB flash memory thumb drive and so on.

Here's the process. Then it gets stuck at around 40%.

Ah ha! After about 25 minutes it started to move again. Just gotta wait it out a bit and don't worry if it's not moving.
