Is there a way to bring back colour to the finder sidebar in MacOS 26

Hi everyone,

Is there a way to bring back colour to the finder sidebar (as shown below) in MacOS 26?
Is there a system setting or third party application that can do this?

I am just looking to set up the new OS look to how I want it and I just think the new design for the finder window sidebar is very bland and not good on my eyes. Is there anything that can be done about it?

I have been wondering about the same thing. I dislike gray.

Does XtraFinder still work? You can set it to just show the folder icons.

I miss the colors too. The icons in sidebar of Settings still have colors, so what's the difference?

(Maybe I shouldn't complain, or they'll remove the colors in Settings, too, lol.)
