Is there a way to bypass CSS Managed Recording (CSS-MR)?

I'm trying to play a legally purchased DVD on my Mac, but it has a new kind of copy protection called CSS-MR (Content Scrambling System - Managed Recording). It allows playback on DVD players but not DVD drives. Anybody know a way around it?
