Not sure is this the appropriate place to ask.

Just installed Open Office and realised the Icon for Doc and Spreadsheet look almost identical. Unlike Microsoft Office, the Words and Excel are blue and green, hence less confused.

For Open Office, whether no icon preview or with icon preview, both looks white.

Is there a way to change the colour.

When you save a File in OpenOffice as a word processor document (i.e. as .odt file), then there is ODT across the bottom of the icon.

When you save a file in OpenOffice as a spreadsheet (i.e. as .ods file), then the icon is in horizontal position, whereas .xls files are vertical (and so also .odt files).

Thanks for reply.

Still I like to see by different colour icon, just like microsoft office. Is there a trick to do it?
