Hi all

There is someone selling an Ipod Classic 160gb. They say they bought it with good intentions of ripping/loading CDs, but never got round to it and as such it is pretty much as new and has never had songs loaded onto it.

Is there any way I would be bale to check the iPod to see whether this is definitely the case or not?

I imagined not, but thought I'd ask on the off chance...

Cheers

I believe you can put it into diagnostic mode and navigate through the menus to find "Power on hours." I don't know if this goes away if the device is reformatted though.

Just tried the diagnostic test and could not find that option. I ran it through the auto test, which i believe takes you through all the tests. Went through them all and there was nothing for battery that I saw. Did I miss something or do something wrong? Or is it not available for this model?

A point of note.... It also reset all of my settings.... Is that to be expected?

Many thanks
