Using an iPod touch 4. Is there a setting that lets me change what the home button does? Specifically I want to disable the "task switcher" that pops up on a double click.

When I am using an App and want to go back to the home screen, I push the home button. Usually nothing happens, so after 2-3 seconds I push it again and the task switcher opens. I click again to close that, and click again to exit to the home screen. So I usually have to click 4 times to return to the home screen. I figure if I can turn off the "multitasker" this can be fixed. I never use the thing anyway.

What if..

I think you can not change "double click" with latest versions however...

What if you go to "settings"->"General"->"Accessibility"->"Triple-click Home"?

Then you could just use "triple-click"...
