I notice that some of the pics I have taken, and their corresponding location isn't too correct when looking at the pins on the map. is there a way to reposition the pins for a pic?

You should be able to use a graphics app such as Photoshop to edit the exif information embedded in the photo that contains the GPS co-ordinates.
If you don't have that you could try Googling exif editor and see what pops up
