I have a new M2 Air, and I used the Magic Trackpad with it and would love to disable the built in track pad, I've tried searching (ill admit not overly hard) and couldn't find anything. Bonus if there is a automatic disable when the external track pad is connected lol

Do you have an external monitor and keyboard to go along with the trackpad? If so, you can place the MacBook in Closed-Display Mode, and the internal keyboard, trackpad, mic, and camera will be disabled.

If not, there isn't a way I know of to disable just the trackpad.

Yep there is
