I was playing music through Itunes two days ago and I paused the song being played last. It was in the paused mode when I later closed Itunes and put the MBP to sleep.

Unfortunately, when I look at the history this song doesn't show because it was paused and didn't play through.

Is there a way to find out what song it was?

Since you quit iTunes mid-play it may not have written to the library so you may not be able to, your best bet would be to try checking 'Last skipped'. Press cmd-J and select the "Last skipped" to be shown (if it's not already) sort by that column and it would be somewhere near the top.

I thought of that too but it didn't work. It does have the recently skipped songs but not that one. I guess because I didn't skip it.

I thought maybe there was a history file like for browsers that I could look in.

Thanks for the info.
