I haven't received my MacBook Pro Retina yet. It's coming Monday. But I do have the Serial # from the invoice emailed to me.

Is there a way to find out the date was manufactured from punching in the Serial #?

Yes to that. But Apple recently changed the way the serial numbers are coded. It used to be the first five digits of the serial number. The first two are meaningless to the date, the third is the last digit of the year is was made in, and the fourth and fifth are the week of the year. Example: If it is 38511NT82HE it was made in week 11 of 2005. I don't think this is how it is anymore.
