I like to use apps like Safari and Pages full screen, but getting to full screen is a two step process -- launch app, click full screen button. Is there any way to have apps start up right into full screen mode? I tried googling, but couldn't find anything.

The only way I can see to do this is by unticking the option in System Preferences > General for ''Close windows when quoting an application'. This works for Safari and the App Store.
