So I moved to Bangladesh from the US about a year ago. I got my iPhone 11 Pro Max before leaving America. Anyway, since I've been here, my iPhone and my wife's iPhone X have been giving us these weird messages directly from the carrier and they take up the full screen. I never saw this what I term "SIM card subsystem" in America. This notification pops up by itself seemingly randomly and its annoying AF. I would like to turn these messages off. Is there some code I can dial in the phone app to turn this off? Thanks.

If you hit reply, does it show a normal SMS window? Can you reply with the traditional "STOP"?

Those are called Class 0 SMS or flash messages. Depending on your carrier, you may be able to disable them.
