I broke my phone, so I want it replaced (it was my own fault, so I except them to charge me), but I don't want to have to go to an Apple Store and wait a couple days for the phone to be replaced. I've heard of people with blackberries mailing there's in and getting a new one the next day in the mail, but I don't know if I can do that with my iPhone. Anyone know how that works.

Is there a way to just send my iPhone in to be replaced?

check the apple support pages, there are links I believe on the right side of the page. For products under warranty (at least for iPods), they will send you a box in the mail with a new one and you have to return your old one. They will charge you if the old one cannot be repaired do to user neglect.
Yep, just ask Apple Support for a "mailer" to be sent to you and it should show up in a few days. 
Don't know how far you are from the Apple shipper, but mine showed up the next day. Ordered on a Monday had it Tuesday night after work.
