iPhone XS Is there a way to link IUP to my Apple ID?

I bought an XS on IUP instore a while back.

I can see my IUP by searching with serial/IMEI but it is not under my Apple ID.

I am only concerned about it being linked so I don't have an order issue next time.

I called Apple and they directed me to AppleCare... Neither really understands what I am talking about.
