iPhone 13 mini Is there a way to see how much space I'd need?

I have a 13 mini I'm going to be putting up for the 17pro and it's been short on space in the past where i have to put my messages, photos, etc in the cloud. Is there a way to see how much storage I'd need to avoid having to do that?

Just double what you have stored now.

I only use half of the base 256GB storage on my 16 Pro.

Check you iCloud usage (under settings on iPhone) and get a phone with twice the amount of space you are using with iCloud.

Is that because you're storing things in the cloud? I have 100GB in texts alone. One of the things I really wish apple would do is adjust their cloud storage options. The more years you're in the system the more you accumulate.
