Today i was doing some system maintenance to clear up some space. i also organized my music folder better and transferred some stuff to an external drive. Somehow I lost 8 gigs of space today. Is there a way or a program that will show me the most recent added things to my hard drive. thanks

There might be trick you can do with Spotlight. Likely there is.

But you can always go to the terminal and use the "find" command to list all files with modification dates that meet some condition you specify. Type "man find" to learn more.

But if you are looking for stuff that is missing it should be clear that you will not find it on the disk.
