Hi,

Since my last iPhone (5) there have been a few changes in my life, i got two kids now, and since their birth we upload all our photos to our Google Photos account.
Now i am back with a 7 plus, everything seems to be fine, but i can not find how to select which photos get to get uploaded to Google Photo and which do not. I want to have only my Camera Roll uploaded to the cloud, i would like to leave the pictures i download or get sent by Viber on my phone and not uploaded to Google Photo.

Can you help?

Thanks.

The problem I think you have is that by default all pictures on an iPhone go into the camera roll regardless of how they are sent/saved. I don’t think there’s a way to choose another library on the phone to sync instead.

One way you can stop photos syncing is to hide select pictures and they then appear in a folder called hidden.

Google photos then doesn’t auto upload these images.
