My Network Printer and my Airport Extreme both have device names that make them easily identifiable on my network router. But other devises that are connected such as my iPhone and MacBook Pro show up as "UNKNOWN". I know I can painfully look up the Mac Address to find out what each devise is, but is there a way of assigning a "Device Name" to my iPhone and to my MacBook Pro?

Does that help?

Um... not really unless I'm missing something...

I already have a name in there "Xxxx's MacBook Pro" is it possible that I'm not supposed to have any spaces? or is there a limit to the number of letters I can use?
