Hey guys,

I have about 300 songs on my ipod touch but have since lost all the music on my computer (including itunes). It hasn't been a problem until now because I want to download the update for the touch (so I can get the Appstore) but in order to do this, itunes needs to sync my touch which will cause me to lose all my music. Is there a way I can put the music back onto the compuer (windows) from my touch? Thanks for any help with this!

iTunes has the ability to sync your purchases back to your computer. And I believe there are some programs out there to draw all the files back from the iPod, but I've never had to do it, so I don't know what it is called.

Thanks...most of the music is off of CD's that I no longer have, so they weren't actually purchased from itunes. If anyone knows the name of a program that can do this, I'd appreciate it. Thanks again.

Senuti is one, I have it downloaded but have never used it so I can't give any review of it, but that should be what you're looking for, and it's free.

That program (senuti) looks great, but it's not for windows. Is there something like this for Windows? (My touch is not jailbroken)

If i can suggest you, let`s try iGadget, from purple ghost software. It indicates that is touch compatible. I use it with my ipod 5.5G and is OK and easy to use.
