Long question short: is there any way to get an AT&T pay-as-you-go SIM card to work in an iPhone 4? My girlfriend's account is in military suspend which has caused FaceTime to stop working and we're trying to figure out how to get that up and running. She'll be leaving the phone in airplane mode just with wifi on.

I had her do a full settings reset, hard reset and restore. I called AT&T and AppleCare and they both claim it's due to her account being suspended...my assumption is the suspend "unregistered" her phone from the FaceTime servers.

Just looking for ways to get her FaceTime back up!

Maybe if she gets another AT&T simcard.
The other one is blocked obviously so nothing you can do on your end.

Well we could always unsuspend her account but it'd be insane for her to pay for international roaming. We're just waiting for an unlock to come out so she can get a local sim...

The big question is whether a pay-as-you-go sim card will work as she doesn't want to pay for monthly service she won't use
