Is there a way to use iTunes Match & Still Have Own Music on iPhone?

Curious to know because I like the itunes Match option, but for some mixtapes and tracks that itunes doesnt have, it'd be great to have them readily available..

If the quality of the tracks you want to keep on your phone is good enough, they will be uploaded into the cloud with all the rest of the music. I have my old band's music (we recorded in a basement) on my iTunes Match.

Ditto to above. You can have 25000 songs either matched or uploaded.

update: Now I se some of my music is grey (can't be played)

Ditto to above. You can have 25000 songs either matched or uploaded.

I would just add that any music that is "matched" doesn't count toward the 25.000 song limit, only songs that need to be uploaded.

Did you just sign up for iTunes Match? I takes a little bit to get everything into the Cloud. Even after it goes through the 3 steps in iTunes.

Matched music does count towards the limit. Songs that have been purchased from the iTunes Store don't.
