When using Windows, I used to look through temporary internet files and find all kinds of stuff such as icons, backgrounds etc from the various websites I visited.

If I'd used macrumours forum, for example, and I looked back the temp internet files I would find all the logos and backgrounds from that site.

How can I do this in mac osx? I have opened Finder, and there are hundreds of folders etc., but the terminology is not what I'm used to.

I believe you have to go to Applications, right click on the software, choose Show package content, then you'll find various folders in there, probably a Cache folder as well not sure though

Thanks for the reply.

I did navigate my way there, although there wasn't as much stuff as I thought there would have been.

Interesting though.

:)
