Is there a way to watch tv on the apple cinema display?

im thinking of getting a refurbished 24inch apple cinema display to attach to my new 15 macbook pro.

my dorm room in university has cable, so i thought it would be cool to also use it as a HDTV.

so im wondering, how/ is it possible to watch tv on the apple cinema display?

You'll need a TV tuner. Check out EyeTV, they have some good ones.

You would have to route it through your computer, with a device like Intell mentioned

Well, there's Eye-tv and Slingbox...There are some other Mac tv tuners as well...
