Is there a widget to monitor ink amount in printer?

I have Canon Pixma MP620 and I was wondering if there is a widget for the dashboard to monitor ink levels? My grandfather has an HP and a Mac and has a widget to monitor it, but it is HP specific.

In my experience these aren't usually 'widgets' but they come with the printer's driver software.

Come to think of it, the auto-installation for my HP 1210 All-In-One has the ink level monitor, no CD/download of software needed.

I can't find the Ink level for my HP Photosmart C4380 All-in-one series. Any suggestions?
