Hi,

Im just curious if anyone knows of a good wireless External HDD that will connect to my Macbook Pro via bluetooth. Or even if something like that exists. I take the train into work every morning and would like to not have everything out and connected to my Mac and worry about the usb wire tugging to falling off my lap.

Thanks in advance

There are wireless hard drives, but you really don't want to use Bluetooth, way too slow. Just do a google search for "wireless external hardrive"

They're going to use Wifi radios, but not the wifi network. So they use the wifi radio to talk directly to your computer's wifi radio. Think AirDrop, but for an external drive.

Get a high-capacity high-speed USB3 flashdrive, and use that instead...

There are some very small wifi ssd drives out there.

recently sold my 32GB wifi drive to a friend as was too small.

I even have a wifi DVD with usb port so any usb flash/HDD can be accessed.
Only down side needs massive powerbank to run it as designed to be mains.
