Just wondering if anyone's found anything....
I find iCal (or "Calendar" as it's called in ML) to be frustrating since it doesn't usually sync reminders properly between devices. Only Google's website does this, and so I've mostly been using that.

Any suggestions would be appreciated for free or paid software that's as frictionless as possible.

Fantastical looks nice:

I have yet to use it (will do so now as I am also looking for a good Calendar app that syncs with Google Calendar).

Hmmm, I've seen this.
I'm not a huge fan of the lack of an entire week-view. Also, I'm concerned that the syncing abilities of the built in CalDAV in OS X will have that same issue syncing the alerts/reminders for events properly between Google devices.

I think whatever it is needs to have support specifically for Google Calendar, not a third-party protocol that Google supports. Any ideas? I'm feeling like there might be nothing unless Google themselves were able to release something native.
